Who are we?
Neurotechtor Scientific Students Club is a team consisting of people interested in active participation in the development of neurotechnology in Poland. We are students, PhD students, researchers, lecturers, professionals and amateurs in fields such as cognitive science, psychology, information science, biotechnology, physics, biology, mathematics, philosophy and the arts.
Our goal is to study neurotechnology and create solutions that connect neurosciences, engineering, psychology, medicine, information science and medicine to improve the quality of human life. We are interested in diagnosis, therapy and development of new solutions for users.
As a group, we are open-minded people from all over the world, and our beginning dates back to ToruĊ - the city of Nicolaus Copernicus, who (as they say) stopped the Sun and moved the Earth. We plan to move people's minds.
Our action plan for the 2021/22 academic year assumes:
- developing knowledge and skills related to the use of neurotechnology;
- organization of events associating students interested in neurotechnology, ie Hackathons;
- exchange of knowledge and interests between members of the Circle;
- acting in accordance with the idea of open-science, which aims to test software, improve it and conduct reliable scientific research;
- promoting the idea of cooperation and understanding, and developing contacts with other universities, research institutions and science clubs;
- trips for scientific and research purposes;
- promotion of the University;
- organizing substantive meetings;
- initiating own research projects, and thus introducing students to scientific work.
